The Treviso-based DAQUA festival, produced by Rocking Motion, was the inspiration and driving force behind this videomapping project. The simple, geometric architecture of the façade overlooking Isola della Pescheria comes alive through the many forms of water as it flows, distorts, permeates, and explodes. The water responds to the powerful sound design, transforming the very shapes of the building. The emotional intensity builds towards a finale that fills the eyes with water.
The projections, visible from across the entire square, introduced and then accompanied the festival’s activities over the course of three days.
